For the upcoming season, we are looking for Pastry Chef
What you’ll be doing in this role:
- Managing and operating the pastry section of the kitchen
- Coordinating with the Executive and Sous Chef to ensure smooth workflow
- Preparing ingredients and handling baking equipment
- Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections according to the hotel’s offerings
- Developing new recipes and decorating desserts for attractive presentation
- Meeting with guests to plan custom desserts for special occasions
- Monitoring ingredient stock and performing inventory procedures
- Ordering supplies, ingredients, and equipment as needed
- Ensuring the pastry section complies with safety and health regulation
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Highly skilled in pastry techniques, baking processes, and dessert decoration
- Experienced in menu planning and developing desserts that meet hotel standards and guest preferences
- Knowledgeable about food safety, hygiene standards, and cost control to ensure quality and profitability
- Able to monitor ingredient stock, manage supplies, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- A strong team player who collaborates across departments to deliver exceptional guest service
- An effective communicator with leadership skills
- Guest-oriented, constantly seeking to enhance the dining experience
- Independent and proactive
