JOB PURPOSE_________________________________________________________

Purpose of the Maintenance – Pool Attendant position is to maintain and repair all the hotel installations and equipment as well as to ensure that pools are maintained properly.  

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES_________________________________

– Maintains and repairs all the mechanical installations – i.e., air conditioning and ventilation,

– Maintains and repairs all the plumbing installations - water distribution, boilers, pool equipment,

– Maintains and repairs all the carpentry inside the Resort,

– Takes part in the construction works inside the Resort,

– Maintains and repairs complete equipment of the facilities,

– Performs all the works related to pools maintenance (checking the quality of the pool water on a daily basis, checking and monitoring the process of chemical maintenance of the pools, performs administrative and paperwork tasks related to pool maintenance and all the other pool maintenance related jobs),

– Performs all the other duties assigned by his superior

JOB CHARACTERISTICS___________________________________

– Employee reports directly to Chief Engineer and where there is a shift supervisor to shift supervisor,

– The working week shall be 40 hours, in case of overtime hours they will be reallocated in the weeks or days off in a less busy months of the season (Reallocated working time - preraspodjela radnog vremena),

– One day off per week is mandatory throughout the whole season,

– Employees need to be able to lift heavy objects and stand on their feet for extended periods. Position can be physically demanding at times,

– Employee will be working with the maintenance equipment and variety of chemical supplies for the pools,

– Safe practices need to be exercised while on duty
