JOB PURPOSE_________________________________________________________

The Bellboy/Driver is primarily responsible for welcoming all guests to the hotel as well as bidding them farewell. The bell person is escorting guests to and from their accommodations, orienting them with the features of the property and their accommodations, assisting the guest in any way to make them feel more comfortable in accordance with the established Standards of Excellence.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES__________________________________________

➢ Checks daily arrivals and departures,

➢ Opens the main front door for every guest and visitor,

➢ Warmly greets every guest and visitor,

➢ Provides luggage storage, delivery and collection service in efficient and timely manner,

➢ Marks guests' luggage and hands them an ID card,

➢ Accompanies the guest to the room and conducts the room introduction,

➢ Delivers packages, messages, flowers, etc. to the guest's room upon a request,

➢ Provides hotel car and buggy transfer service,

➢ Ensures safe and smooth driving while performing transfer duties,

➢ Valet parking service,

➢ Checks the condition of the vehicle and ensures that the hotel's cars are clean and tidy,

➢ Assists in answering the phone and receiving messages, diverts calls or handles queries on its own,

➢ Assists with other related duties depending on hotel needs


SPECIFICATIONS_____________________________________________________

Technical competences:

➢ High school diploma,

➢ Basic Microsoft Office skills,

➢ Excellent knowledge of English in written and verbal form,

➢ Ability to lift heavy objects and stand on their feet for an extended period,

➢ Driving licence,

➢ Knowledge of reception operations and procedures,

➢ Knowledge of health and safety regulations that apply at work,

➢ Luggage Handling Equipment: Proficiency in using luggage carts, dollies, and other equipment for transporting guest baggage safely and efficiently,

➢ Property Management Systems (PMS): Basic knowledge of PMS software for checking in/out guests and logging deliveries,

➢ Navigation Skills: Ability to navigate the hotel premises, including rooms, amenities, and emergency exits, to assist guests effectively,

Basic IT Skills: Skills in using tablets or mobile devices for checking guest requests or logging information,

➢ Safety and Security Protocols: Understanding of hotel security measures, emergency procedures, and guest privacy protocols,

➢ Customer Service Software: Familiarity with CRM tools to track guest preferences and special requests,

➢ Basic Maintenance Knowledge: Ability to identify minor maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate department,

➢ Multitasking Abilities: Skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently, such as handling luggage, providing information, and assisting guests simultaneously,

➢ When not assisting guests, the worker works at the reception or in the back office,

➢ The working uniform is provided by the employer,

➢ The worker will mainly work with basic hotel equipment - luggage trolley, laptop, mobile phone, cars and various cleaning supplies,

➢ The employer grants access to all systems used in the Hotel that are related to the performance of work duties.
